A friend of mine posted this video on their facebook page and I have a love/hate relationship with it.  As a fan of the stuff College Humor puts out, I knew it’d be snarky and funny, and it was.  But it was also a little annoying for a few reasons.

I will say that I have met the kind of traveler portrayed in this video, and YES, they suck to be around.  However, I am more annoyed when people assume you must be rich to travel.  That is so far from the truth, it is laughable.  What you need to be (if you’re not rich) is creative.  If you really wanted to travel you could and would figure out how to make it happen.  I did!  I traveled for years on a $600/month budget and lived a great life.  It’s really not that difficult if you forget about all of the things that society tells you you need and all of the rules it says you must live by.
